We are pleased to announce that we will be holding the Magnetism 2015 conference at the University of Leeds on 30 and 31 March 2015.
We received an overwhelmingly positive response from attendees of this year's Magnetism 2014 conference in Manchester. As a result, the IOP Magnetism Group and UKRI Chapter IEEE Magnetics Society have agreed to support similar conferences in 2015 and 2016.
Magnetism 2015 will follow a similar approach to this year's conference. We aim to be an inclusive meeting for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland magnetism communities but are also delighted to welcome attendees from further afield. To support this, we are again aiming for a programme of international standard.
The Plenary Lecture will be presented by Professor Stuart Parkin (Director, Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics and Alexander von Humboldt Professor, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg) and the Wohlfarth Lecture on 'Shedding light on artificial ferroic systems' will be presented by Laura Heyderman (ETH Zürich - Paul Scherrer Institute).
The two-day conference will also include two parallel sessions, a poster session and conference dinner.
We sincerely hope that you are able to join us at Magnetism 2015 in Leeds.
